Online Account Payment
Log in to our Online Account Center to make a real-time payment on your water bill. You can also set up a credit card draft so that your payment automatically drafts each month.
BWA is excited to offer the WaterSmart Program to its customers. This free service is part of our commitment to provide customers with the best tools to manage their water use and their bill. WaterSmart allows customers to view daily water use, be alerted to possible leaks, and see their current bill as well as bill history. Customers may sign up at https://benbrook.watersmart.com
Existing Benbrook Water Authority (BWA) customers may transfer their water service to another address served by BWA by completing the Request to Transfer Service Form or in person at our office during normal business hours. Service may overlap at both addresses for a maximum of 14 days. Customers needing service at both addresses for more than 14 days will be required to put up a second deposit at the new residence. The deposit will be based up the deposit requirements in effect at the time the second service account is requested. A current government-issued photo ID must be provided with all transfer requests.
Customers may terminate their BWA water service by completing the Request to Terminate Service form or in person at our office during normal business hours. Customers will need to provide the date they need the service terminated as well as a forwarding address for the final bill. A current government-issued photo ID must be provided with all termination requests.
Add an Additional Name to Your BWA Account
Customers may add additional names to their BWA water service account by completing the Request to Add Name to Account form or in person at our office during normal business hours. A current government-issued photo ID must be provided with all account change requests.
Request to Change your Name on your BWA Account
Current BWA account holders can request to change their name on their BWA water account due to marriage or divorce by completing the Request to Change Name on Account form or in person at our office during normal business hours. A current government-issued photo ID with the new name, marriage license, or divorce decree must be provided with all account change requests.
Temporary Service is service that last no longer than 48 hours and is available for residential properties only. The fee for temporary service is $25 and includes up to 400 cubic feet of water usage. Usage above 400 cubic feet will be billed to the customer at current water rates. Customers requesting temporary service must fill out a Service Application and a Customer Service Inspection Form and pay the $25 fee prior to service being started. A current government-issued photo ID must be provided with all temporary service requests.
